Employer Rules - JacketNet Jobs
JacketNet Jobs is a site exclusively for Tech alumni and companies interested in
recruiting Tech alumni. Any employer who does not comply with the rules of the system
as presented below may face permanent revocation of user privileges.
Employer who utilize JacketNet Jobs must post individual jobs for traditional, W-2
or 1099 employees. Postings that JacketNet Jobs does not support include,
but are not limited to:
- Any position requiring a monetary investment
- Any position related to the adult entertainment industry
- Multi-level or pyramid marketing schemes
Information contained in job postings must be accurate with sufficient detail describing
the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Do not allow unauthorized individuals to access the JacketNet Jobs system with your
login information. Posting inappropriate information using your JacketNet Jobs account
will result in immediate and permanent termination of your account/posting.
You may not resell or repost resumes found on this site. Resumes may not be shared
with individuals outside of the entity posting the position. These actions violate
an individuals ability to control how his or her resume is viewed and will result
in dismissal from the JacketNet Jobs system as well as possible legal action.
If you are a 3rd party recruiter (retained or contingency), you may participate
in JacketNet Jobs at our discretion. Please provide the following information to
apply:
- Email an overview about your company including areas of specialization to career@gtalumni.org. If this information is
provided on your firm’s website, feel free to forward a link to the appropriate
site.
- Send three professional reference letters from former clients to us via fax (404-894-5113)
or email (career@gtalumni.org)
- Within 7 business days you will be contacted regarding your status.
We insist that third parties utilizing the JacketNet Jobs site must be forthcoming
with the information on the company they’ve contracted with to identify appropriate
candidates. Third party recruiters must obtain the express permission of an alumni
candidate identified via JacketNet jobs prior to forwarding the resume on to the
employer.
Alumni Rules- JacketNet Jobs
JacketNet Jobs is an exclusive benefit to alumni of the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Any non-alumnus who posts a resume will be removed from the database without notification.
By registering for JacketNet Jobs, an alumni user agrees to the rules of the system.
- All information presented on your JacketNet Jobs profile should be truthful, accurate
and relate directly to your professional experience and goals.
- When communicating with employers, professional and prompt responses are always
required.
- You are responsible for maintaining the integrity of the information presented in
your profile through keeping your login information confidential. Any access to
JacketNet Jobs by unauthorized users is strictly prohibited.
Any misuse of the JacketNet Jobs system may result in permanent revocation of user
privileges and possible reduction/elimination of GT Alumni Association benefits.
